Highlands Music Collective
Our music lifts you even higher!
Highlands Music Collective is a not-for-profit organisation devoted to fostering exceptional music experiences in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. Under the guidance of our Founder and Artistic Director, Myee Clohessy, our dynamic ensemble features some of the finest and most passionate musicians in region.
Supported by dedicated musicians, composers, audiences, and generous donors, and governed by a committee of experienced business and community leaders, the Highlands Music Collective is passionate about cultivating a vibrant classical music scene that enriches our community.
Join us in celebrating the beauty of music and its power to bring people together.

Over the years, Highlands Music Collective has programmed beloved classics along with hidden treasures from around the globe, in particular highlighting Australian composers who deserve recognition. When possible, these composers who are living on our doorstep, are invited to attend our concerts and share the inspiration behind their works.
Highlands Music Collective is also committed to featuring female composers whose works have been forgotten or ignored over the centuries, and nurturing the talents of our young musicians through our annual Pascoe Awards by providing them a platform to shine.
Our Missions are to:
● Engage, enrich, and inspire audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
● Create opportunities for local musicians, artists, and composers.
● Encourage and support the development of young musicians.
● Provide a platform for Australian composers and introduce their music to audiences.
Highlands Music Collective pays our respects to all First Nations people.
We recognise their deep connection to Country and acknowledge the Gundungurra and Tharawal people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live, gather and make music.
