Past Events

Highlands Music Collective debuted at the Mittagong Playhouse in 2019 with a sixteen-piece ensemble featuring the region's most passionate string musicians and music by local composer Ann Carr-Boyd. Since then, we have included music for wind, brass, piano and voice and enriched the chamber music scene in the Southern Highlands. Our performances have featured at the Bowral Autumn Music Festival (2022, 2023 & 2024), Bowral Memorial Hall, Rose Recital Room, Burrawang School of Arts, Penrose Hall, Bundanoon Memorial Hall, Chevalier College, Wollongong Art Gallery and Canberra Wesley Music Centre.
